ReviGives

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

ReviGives is a charitable scholarship initiative powered by Compass New Hope. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our scholarship application, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

The ReviGives scholarship application collects the information an applicant chooses to provide, including name, email address, school, the scholarship of interest, and any submitted work or written descriptions of that work. We may also collect anything else voluntarily included in a message or attachment sent to us.

When you browse the site, our hosting and analytics providers may automatically record basic technical details such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser type, and referring page.

How We Use Information

Information submitted through the application is used to review and administer the ReviGives scholarships, to verify eligibility, to communicate with applicants about their submissions, and to notify recipients. We may contact applicants with updates about application timing, deadlines, or award decisions.

We will only publicly recognize a recipient, or share submitted work publicly, with permission from the recipient and, where the recipient is a minor, a parent or guardian.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers we rely on to operate this website and process applications — for example website hosting, form handling, email delivery, and analytics — and only to the extent needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Where a scholarship is administered in coordination with a partner school, we may share the name and application details of finalists with that school for the purpose of confirming eligibility and coordinating the award.

Cookies and Analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember basic preferences and to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. Analytics data is used to improve the site and is not used to identify individual visitors. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies; the site will continue to work if you do.

Data Retention

Application materials are retained for the duration of the scholarship cycle and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping and to consider applicants for future opportunities. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your information at any time.

Applicants Who Are Minors

Many ReviGives applicants are high school students and may be under 18. If you are a minor, please review this policy with a parent or guardian and involve them before submitting any personal information or creative work. Parents and guardians may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of information submitted by their student.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information submitted to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to application information to those administering the scholarships.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any revisions will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
